Field calibration: what shipyards actually verify
Calibration is more than color balance. We verify switch travel, illumination curves, and alarm harmonics.
field support · calibration
Shipyards rightly focus on power and cooling first. Our field technicians add a second layer: tactile switch travel, dimming curves for night operations, and alarm tone matching to the reference hull where licensing allows.
Each visit ends with a signed matrix comparing trainer behavior to the acceptance criteria in the contract annex. If a discrepancy is cosmetic but instructional, we still log it for the next overhaul window.
Customers should expect calibration visits to interrupt classrooms briefly; we schedule around watch bills when possible.
